I have learned so much from the way that Doug & Sara have loved over the years…loved me, their community & friends…loved one another…and now loving their adorable boys! I’m so grateful for faithful friends like these to share life with! What a gift to walk through different seasons of life together…from college days and first “real” jobs and dating to getting married and now raising families together. I feel so privileged to not only have witnessed some major milestones in the Magee’s lives…but to have also documented them over the last few years!
I’m excited to share these photos with you of the Magee’s family portraits & Colden’s first year portraits, photographed at Valley Forge. Enjoy!!
A few weeks ago, my husband, baby & I headed west. We spent a week exploring Northern California, hopping between Reno, Redding, Mt. Shasta, Whiskeytown Lake, Burney Falls & Tahoe. It was glorious. I filled up my memory cards & exploded my Instagram as my heart was refreshed and inspired throughout our time.
My dear friend & former associate photographer, Shavon, met us there (from where she now lives in Phoenix) & we worked together again to photograph the most beautiful couple and maternity portraits. (I can’t forget to mention that I had the cutest two boys watching us the entire time…Jeremiah & Haven sporting their matching sunglasses at sunset on Whiskeytown Lake…)
As I sit here this morning, the baby sleeps in the swing next to me & I’m sipping slowly from one of my 90s California mugs from my very first trip to Tahoe, stopping and staring at every detail in these photos, every mountain & am going back for a bit in my heart & my mind.
I’ve been so excited to share some images with you from Nate & Carrie’s maternity session. They blessed us so much during our visit…how much more is that little growing life inside going to be blessed by having them as such wonderful parents. We are so thrilled for you during this time of transition and are beyond grateful to have documented it. ENJOY!
At the last minute, I was asked to photograph Kim & Sean’s portrait session for their newborn, Max. What a unique and powerful journey they have been on and shared with me – one of loss and life, as they now celebrate their long-awaited firstborn. Max is truly a gift, beautifully crafted, and has been blessed with incredibly loving and wonderful parents!!! It was a joy to capture so many details of their sweet little boy and the happiness that is spilling out from their hearts during this transition!
