The Saul’s Family Portraits

Get familiar with these darling faces, for they will surely be reoccurring subjects in my posts. Meet the Saul family – my beautiful sister, Heather, my brother-in-love, Ken & their three gorgeous and hysterical kids: Logan, Madeline & Sophia (my nieces & nephew!).

They haven’t had a family portrait done in years and so now that “Aunt Ange” is the new family photographer, we scheduled a photo shoot prior to Christmas. Everybody got all dolled up & we had a lot of fun together…

laura - LOVE these!! The one of Ken leaning down to sophia is priceless!

the journey continues… :: Personal

Whether it was from the 7 times I’ve moved in the last 7 years, the chaos of life transitions and being a twenty-something or giving my love, energy and time to people & things – somewhere along the line I seem to have tucked large parts of myself, specifically from my artistic side, away. I’m on a journey to wake up the creativity in my heart and mind that’s been sleeping for far too long. So, whether you’re stumbling upon this webpage to support me or perhaps just to stalk me from afar – I am glad you’re here. I hope you enjoy looking at life through my perspective.

It is important for me to note that my smile rests on the floor, along with the rest of my jaw, as I am continuously pinching myself from all of the goodies that have been provided for me along the way in order to make my desire to pursue photography a reality. I shoot with my Canon 5D Mark ii, a couple of lovely lenses & edit on my beloved iMac.

(For the time being, these posts and this site will be mostly centered around photography – but who is to say what melodies or miscellaneous finds might show up around these parts for the sharing. Enjoy!)

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the LORD.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
As the rain and the snow
come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
You will go out in joy
and be led forth in peace;
the mountains and hills
will burst into song before you,
and all the trees of the field
will clap their hands.” – Isaiah 55
